Credibility Is Your Best Weapon
It can be the single biggest factor in determining the long-term success of your online business yet so few people able to establish credibility with their business. It’s very simple to do. Simply place a bio of yourself or your company on the main page of your website. You don’t have to give out too much personal information but just enough to make the customer feel comfortable purchasing from you.
Below is my friend’s story as he describes:
Here is a real world example of how credibility can drive massive amounts of traffic to your web site. I sell a certain software product online that is fairly competitive. There are a lot of sites that sell this product. One day I noticed I was receiving about 450 hits per hour to the site.
I checked my logs and saw that all the traffic was coming from one mainstream media site. It seems this site had reviewed the software I was selling and used my item out of the thousands available as a reference for the product. I emailed the author of the article and asked her why she chose my site and she said it was easy. I was the ONLY site selling this product that provided full contact information and a bio. They could reach me by phone, email, and regular mail. It created credibility. All the other sites provided nothing more than an email address and in some cases not even that.
I ended up getting over 20,000 hits in one week, about 10,000 the second week, and about 5000 the third week, and this was not counting the regular traffic. This resulted in a LOT of sales. Credibility can be so powerful that I can’t understand why more people don’t give their business the same chance. My cost: ZERO

You must have got the idea now that sometimes not just the product information but your approach to your website information can help you make money.
Best Way To Deal With Information Overload
This isn’t just something that happens to marketing beginners either, and even now, I still suffer from extreme information overload from time to time.
The difference between now and when I was a beginner, is that I’m now much better equipped to deal with this, and I can see the warning signs as soon as they occur, and so I can deal with it head on before it zaps my time.
Information overload usually grabs me when I’m now much better equipped to deal with this, and I can see the warning signs as soon as they occur, and I can deal with it head on before it zaps my time.
Information overload usually grabs me when I’m concentrating on two new projects at once, or when I’m reflecting on too many things from the past, or planning to much for the future.
You won’t get other successful marketers admitting this, but everyone feels like this from time to time, and it’s certainly not something that affects only beginners.
When this happens, it’s almost as though my brain gets stuck in a loop, and I end up going around in my mind all day long, simply unable to decide where to start or what is best.
One of the most effective ways that I’ve learnt to overcome the information overload monster is to sit down and write out all the different tasks, which need to be completed.
I think I tend to suffer from the problem when I have too many tasks in my head, and I find that writing down everything that needs to be done is an absolutely brilliant way of taking the clutter out of my head, and putting it into some kind of organized format.
Generally, though, I just write down all the ideas and tasks that are in my head, and I find that by putting them on to a piece of paper, and prioritizing them in number order, the information clutter is eliminated.
Once I’ve written down all the tasks that need to be completed, I find that just concentrating on each task in order is the best way for me to overcome any kind of information overload problems.
So if I write down 20 tasks, I wont even begin to think about task number four until task number one has a big chunky tick next to its name all of my energy and all my focus will be on task number one, and I simple wont dwell on the other tasks until the relevant time.
If I’m honest, I don’t know if this is the best way to deal with this problem, but it works for me, and I’m sure it can work for you too.

I remember when I was a complete beginner, and I suffered from this problem an awful lot. I had so many ideas in my head about how to make money, and the hardest part was trying to decide which of those ideas to follow.
I later discovered, that it’s all very well having loads of ideas about how to make money, but unless you actually go out of your way and concentrate on one of them, then you’ll never take your business forward. Focus is the name of the game, and it’s also one of the hardest skills to master.
Have your ever felt like this? This was a huge problem for me as a beginner, and it really held my business back for a while.
The best advice I can give anybody who is suffering from information overload is to make a list of all the things need to be done that are in your head, prioritize those tasks, and then work through the list step by step.
Step Outside the Box and Find Yourself
Most people can’t envision themselves stepping outside their lifestyles because we are so well conditioned to go to a job. Think about it, you are trained to get up and go “somewhere” on a schedule your entire life. In kindergarten, kids are conditioned to get up and live on a schedule from that point on.
True businesspeople don’t have a rigid schedule. They earn their way by balancing risk with reward, one of which is personal freedom. What is your freedom worth? Often times we ask what is it that the successful know that we don’t. The answer is nothing.
The difference between the businessman and normal person is that he will accept the risk or tough way to eek out a living and others will not. Implore you to summon your courage. Summon your courage and come on vacation with me for a second. Imagine!
You have decided to follow the desired of your heart. You have quit your job and gone home. You need a business you can run cheaply with little or no investment. On the 15-20th you have over $1100 in bill due. What will you do? You need an efficient vehicle to make money and you need to make money now! You have to step outside your life yet again.
What if you had a vehicle to make money and you gave it everything you had to get it going?

What if you handled it with the same professionalism you do your job. With the same preparation and concern?
What would that business be worth to you?
There are a lot of other ways to step outside your life. You could travel to a foreign country for inspiration. The following are some destination and what they have been noted for historically:
Egypt – Learning and education.
Paris – Food, Wine, Art
Italy – Food, Wine, Art, Government, Religion
Japan – Business, History
England – History, learning and education
